In the Beginning...

Well, here it goes.

Blog number 1! Everyone says this is super fun, but this is my first time! For those of you out there who are blogging geniuses, please don't judge. There's always time to try something new, right? This is actually more liberating than I ever thought!

Ok, the truth. I'm actually starting this blog because I need practice working with blogs to be able to apply for my program at BYU. I'm majoring in Special Education with a minor in Spanish, and to apply we have to take a Skills Test on the computer concerning Word Documents, Powerpoint Presentations, Excel formatting, and Internet usage, including blogging. Ta da! What better way to get some much-needed practice than to start my own blog? I may or may not get addicted now... So, if anyone happens to stumble across this lovely account and cares enough to take a glance, give me some suggestions! What do you like best about blogging? How often do you post? What do you like to hear about in blogs?

Hmm... so, a little about me. As I already mentioned, I'm a student at Brigham Young University. I'm currently in my 4th semester, or my sophomore year. I'm loving it! BYU is definitely a tough school, but I love it here. I feel like I'm in the right place and doing the right thing, even though it gets extremely stressful at times. School is currently my life. I wish I could say I have a ton of cool hobbies, but really, it doesn't get too exciting. School, school, and more school! I'm pretty involved with my family, too. And yes, since I go to BYU, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love it! If you don't know anything about our Church, try the website! http://lds.org/?lang=eng is a good resource. :) Look it up. I promise you won't regret it. Ok, I'm the 2nd oldest in my family: 1 older sister named Nikki (she just got married in December to Nick Morgan!), then me, Olivia (Livvy) who is 16 and in her first official year of high school, Steven who is 14 and loves manly things (baseball, skateboarding/scootering, watching sports, playing his drums), and Aubrey who is 9 and thinks she's the queen of the world. My parents are Pam and Steve. Love them all!

Well, as I expected, I'm getting addicted and spending too much time on here! Gotta go do some studying now... Wish me luck! More later when I need a break from real life. :)
